Relax…Holiday Shopping on line made easy (Part 2)
How would you like to take a little Journey To Forever.…as we escape into the real beauty of the holiday season?
I know, in our last post click-Relax..Holiday Shopping on line made easy (Part 1) I placed a wonderful assortment of resources for you to choose from, but I really didn’t feel it was as creative as I had intended. Only because I wanted to get it out to you as quickly as I could so you would have plenty of time to check it out before you went out shopping.
But you should know me by now….I always say, “If it isn’t fun why do it?” So I’ve spent some more time using ‘imagination’ to make this one a lot more exciting!
Now that the cooler winter days are here for many of us, we get to realize that it does have some really satisfying qualities. And one of them is snow. It can be so magical as we look out the window and discover the first few flurries. We then watch in anticipation, as they gently start building up on the trees and bushes, and on everything in site. It has a way of setting a mood for us to take out our cozy warm blankets & slippers, light a fire, and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate.
If we begin to accept that it’s okay to take extra time to rest &relax during the winter months, or even do a little (click-) Holistic healing, as I spoke of in our last post, we can really look forward to this truly mystical season. If you love the idea, as I do, of hibernating during this time, you too can take advantage of what the internet offers us by doing much of your holiday shopping right on line.
So lets see if I can keep your spirits up, maybe for some, help get into the holiday spirit of gift giving…..And of course make it fun in the process! Hoping that this post can do that ‘for you.’
First Snow ~ Tiffany K
Snow makes whiteness where it falls,
The bushes look like popcorn balls.
The places where I always play,
Look like somewhere else today.
DUST OF SNOW ~ Robert frost
The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree
Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.
*Intimate relationships cannot substitute for a life plan. But to have any meaning or viability at all, a life plan must include intimate relationships. ~Harriet Lerner
*In everyone’s life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit. ~ Albert Schweitzer
*In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer. ~ Albert Camus
Walking In A Winter Wonderland
And there’s nothing like listening to the soothing and also upbeat tunes of Christmas that we all seem to enjoy, even if some of you don’t celebrate this particular holiday.
Silent night – ASHER QUINN – Beautiful Christmas song
Christmas songs Perry Como – Jingle Bells Lyrics
More-click-INSPIRATIONAL QUOTES POEMS-
~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
I heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on Earth, good will to men!
~ William Shakespeare
At Christmas I no more desire a rose,
Than wish a snow in May’s new-fangled shows;
But like of each thing that in season grows.
And there’s always a way this classic tale helps us get in touch with our hearts & spirits. To get back into positive thinking about the holidays, and out of any ‘lack thinking’ thoughts in our life! I love this movie….don’t you?

When you take your imagination to these limits it’s another way to experience the playful side to yourself!!

It’s all in the attitude and using your creativity by discovering the playful side to yourself in any situation….”That’s what it’s all about!”

So, as you surf these wonderful Resources, use your own imagination to make it as enjoyable as you can…Okay?
