(Nov. 25, 2008) Tina, You have manifested even more than I sensed about you in your TUT's bio...and your journey has only begun. It must be such a blessing to have worked so hard to 'position yourself' to help so many people, surely overcoming much discouragement and disappointment...spurred by such inner passion...and the determination to never give up on your dream. It is a dream closely resembling my own...but if that dream never appears as quickly, or quite like I have envisioned...may I at least be granted the wisdom to encourage and appreciate those who have finally broken through the barriers which once lay before them and are now further along the path. May those of us who wish to follow, continue to be drawn to, strengthened and encompassed by the light that now burns a little brighter and from ground a little higher on the mountainside ...that you now shine upon us.
When I look at what you have accomplished Tina...these famous words come to mind : Theodore Roosevelt 26th President of the U.S. And Winner of 1906 Nobel Peace Prize In the battle of life, it is not the critic who counts; nor the one who points out how the strong person stumbled, or where the doer of a deed could have done better. The credit belongs to the person who is actually in the arena; whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; who does actually strive to do deeds; who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotion, spends oneself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement; and who at worst, if he or she fails, at least fails while daring greatly. Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those timid spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.
